The essay deals with trends in regulatory production in the light of pandemic, economic, war and climate emergencies. It is difficult to establish whether the time of these emergencies has produced the definitive affirmation of an ad hoc regulatory system, typified at the level of the legal system, and characterized by an intensity of government intervention destined to assume an increasingly preponderant and proportionate role, from time to time, of the event to be faced. However, the impression is that the legal systems will also be called upon soon to come to terms with such extraordinary events that they are capable of directing a transition towards a different order of sources.
